In the last meeting of the state committee, called by Bruce Dixon in his capacity as Co-Chair of the Georgia Green Party, its members were unanimously agreed in his absence, on the adoption of a Dixon resolution to call this year’s annual meeting of the party. By the time we gathered a quorum of the state committee to hear the proposal, Bruce had been sedated for two days, and would make his departure early the next afternoon.

Greens from across the state are urged to gather, Saturday, August 17th, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Arts Xchange in East Point Georgia, 2148 Newnan Street; 30344. We will meet in the Ebon Dooley Studio, elect members of the state committee and our national delegation and consider proposed changes to the state party bylaws and the platforms of the state and national parties.
