Please attend Hearing on Tuesday at 11:30 AM, Topic: Total Ban on Cell Towers on School Properties
If you didn't make it to last week's Green Party of DeKalb County sponsored Town Hall meeting to warn county residents of the hazards of Biomass-fueled energy production and RF radiation from cell phone towers on school properties, though attendance was disappointing (perhaps diminished by the frigid weather), it was a success in many other regards.
One of those successes of the meeting was Rep. Karla Drenner, a panelist on the School Cell Phone Tower issue, vowing to introduce legislation banning their construction. She followed through as promised, and there will be a legislative hearing on her proposed bill this coming Tuesday.
For the legislature to take our concerns seriously, and to halt the proposed March breaking ground for the nine T-mobile towers, we need to turn out in vast numbers demanding that they enact this law protecting our most vulnerable citizens, our children, from this potentially deadly threat to their health.
Please tell as many people as is possible about this meeting, and make plans to attend to support this urgent legislation.
